2013 Funding Campaign

Dear friend of the Colorado Bach Ensemble,
We have great reason to celebrate – we’ve made it to our second season! We’re proud of the expectations that we’ve set during our first year in bringing world-class ensemble and solo performances to this region. As we look to the future, we expect to build upon that level of excellence.

In addition, we’re committed to offering our performance with affordable ticket prices so that cost is not a barrier to this music that I consider a necessity, not a luxury. I’m sure it’s no surprise that our ticket revenues cover only a small portion of our expenses. As we prepare for our second season, featuring a full performance of the St. Matthew Passion in June, a series of Cantata Concerts in the fall, and a reprise of our hugely successful performance of The Messiah in December, we need to call on your generosity and support. To meet our commitment to the transcendent music of J. S. Bach in 2013, we have a fundraising goal of $85,000.
